We are changing the label to "National Emergency Medical System Information System (NEMSIS) v2.2.1” throughout as the data standard version we have re-used in the development of the TEP data exchange. They have a 3.0 now which will be a future consideration.

I have seen references for NEMSIS that read:

NEMSIS v2.2.1

NEMSIS v2.2.1 / HL7 (RAS)

NEMSIS v2.2.1 / HL& (RAS)

NEMSIS / HL7, AHRQ Natl Patient / Evacuee Track Sys.

NEMSIS v2.2.1 seems to be the most popular but the others occur as well.
