      What about distributed or consensus mechanisms that do not necessarily communicate instruments among market participants? It seems like these mechanisms would not be supported by CTS, true?

          consensus markets (per PNNL recent paper) communicates clearing price and quantity for each Party. It's essentially a quote. "here is what I found for the price that clears the market based on what I heard everyone say for the amount of power they want and how much they are willing to pay", and then everyone iterates and comes up with a new clearing price. In the consensus approach, every Party implements a Market agent.

          Please clarify whether the changes in WD15 meet your needs.

          The text of WD15 enables communication of supply and demand curves plus market clearing properties in WD15.
