Sec 8.1 Definition of canonical string representation of the IP address of the server. Is ambiguous.

Omit leading zeros in canonical representation. Map IPV6 addresses to ip V4 by striping the leading ::ffff:0:0/96 prefix and converting from hex to decimals where the address can be directly mapped. eg ::ffff:c000:280 becomes 192.0.2.128. I did consider going the other way probably a better solution but would break backwards compatibility.
We should also define a canonical version for IP V6 addresses if they are not IP V4 mapped addresses. We can refer to the ABNF in RFC 3986 though it also needs to be clarified that leading zeros should be omitted.

The text should define if leading zeros are suppressed and if there is a transformation into IP V4 addresses from V6.

Moving a card from a selector an a computer using V4 addresses should not cause the PPID to change if the same card is used on a mobile phone with V6 addresses for example.

Need to define canonical representation of IP V6 address.

We should read through for other IP V 4 dependencies.
