      When referencing an expansion from a table, use sigla, like * , **, or footnotes to link the abbreviation in the table to its expansion, hopefully on the same page.

      2.1.2 Flags legend for table?

      Following the table in 2.1.2 I read:

      *****
      Dup = Duplicate delivery of Control Packet

      QoS = Quality of Service

      RETAIN = Retain flag
      *****

      In both the PDF and HTML versions, there is no obvious connection between these entries and the table. In the PDF this is across a page break from where those abbreviations appear in the table.
