      Change description of 9.4.5.2 to:

The <draw:object> element represents objects that have a XML representation.

The object data may be contained in the same package as the document, or in a separate OpenDocument document. If the object data is contained in the same package as the document, then it has to be contained exactly as it would be an OpenDocument document, except that it is contained in a folder within the package rather than in the package root. The xlink:href attribute references that folder.

If the object data is contained in a separate package, the xlink:href attribute references that package.

Alternatively, the <draw:object> element may contain a <office:document> or a <math:math> element which contains the object data.

Note: It is recommended that an image representation of the object be included in the frame in addition to the object itself.

      Change description of 9.4.5.3 to:

The <draw:object-ole> element represents objects that only have a binary representation.

The xlink:href attribute references a sub stream of the package or a separate file that contains the binary representation of the object.

Alternatively, the <draw:object-ole> element may contain a <office:binary-data> element which contains the binary data for the object in BASE64 encoding.

      Section 17.913.38 <text:section-source> (xlink:href)

Ed. Note <draw:object> and <draw:object-ole> state:

The xlink:href attribute links to the object representation, as follows:

For objects that have an XML representation, the link references the sub package of the object. The object is contained within this sub page exactly as it would as it is a document of its own.

For objects that do not have an XML representation, the link references a sub stream of the package that contains the binary representation of the object.

Application that support objects should support linking to objects that are contained within the same package. They may also support linking to object located outside the package.

We need to define how to store embedded objects. Here is not right. Perhaps under the package definition?

Michael's response in December was that yes, we need to specify how to store embedded objects.
