      Physical packaging (referred to as "media descriptor" in the IUDD submission) was deemed out of scope for v1.0 of the SDD standard. Some use cases still call for a specification of physical packaging of the software to be deployed.

      Need to determine if this is something to address in v1.1 of the specification (or beyond); this is a placeholder for now; this determination will be guided by implementation experience.
