      Description

"There is no inverse of a literal statement."

      'inverse' is undefined.
We probably also need to explain what they're used for? why they're needed etc.

My understanding is S/P/O is equivalent to O/inverse-P/S. I can explain it that way, unless somebody has a better explanation.

The notion of inverse property is not supported/defined in RDF, although OWL and SPARQL do define such concept. I guess my question is why do we talk about inverse? do we need it for something and if so for what?

Sometimes you want to be able to refer to a statement from the object end, not just from the subject end. Drummond can probably explain this more elegantly and completely.
