1) OSLC Core TC • This ballot will approve transferring maintenance and further advancement of approved OASIS work products (that is, the Committee Specifications) to the OSLC Open Project following TC Process 1.13 Maintenance Activity of OASIS Standards Final Deliverables. Special Majority Ballot: Does the TC approve transferring maintenance and advancement of OSLC Core Version 3.0 Committee Specification 01 (currently CSPRD03) from the OSLC Core TC to the OASIS OSLC Open Project as soon as the project is operating and ready to receive contributions? If approved, this will authorize the TC Chair to take any actions needed to work with OASIS Open Project Administration to accomplish this transfer. • This ballot will approve transferring ongoing development of existing work products not yet approved as Committee Specifications from the TC to the OSLC Open Project. Jamie notes that "to be clear, this is just an acknowledgment that the TC will stop work and the OS will take over. This motion, unlike the prior one, does not actually cause a continuation of license permissions. It's just an indication of intent. (Which is fine. It helps create the record that the old TC members have no objection to the new OP taking over)" Chet notes that if you have other working drafts already contributed to the TC, we may want to change this from the specific named work to read "...ongoing development of all contributed work products not yet approved as Committee Specifications including OSLC Query Version 3.0 CSPRD01..." or something like that. Special Majority Ballot: Does the TC approve transferring ongoing development of OSLC Query Version 3.0 (currently CSPRD01) from the OSLC Core TC to the OASIS OSLC Open Project as soon as the project is operating and ready to receive contributions? If approved, this will authorize the Chair to take any actions needed to work with OASIS Open Project Administration to accomplish this transfer. • GIVEN THE APPROACH WE ARE NOW TAKING TO INVITING PGB PARTICIPATION, THIS MOTION MAY NOT BE NEEDED. UP TO YOU. This motion will recommend [list of TC members…] to OSLC Project Governing Board as initial members of the Technical Steering Committee. Jamie notes "Nothing wrong with a "recommendation" ... This would not BIND that PGB though, so far as I can see, based on the OP rules." Motion: I move to recommend [TC member names and affiliations] to the OSLC Open Project Project Governing Board (PGB) for membership in the project's Technical Steering Committee (TSC). • A ballot to close the TC This ballot will officially close the TC. The reason for keeping it active for some period (30 days is suggested but up to you all) is just in case some final business comes up that needs to be attended to and the TC needs to come back for a vote. Full Majority Ballot: Does the TC approve closing as of the 30th day after the OSLC Open Project is officially approved? 2) OSLC Domains TC • This ballot will approve transferring maintenance and further advancement of approved OASIS work products (that is, the Committee Specifications) to the OSLC Open Project following TC Process 1.13 Maintenance Activity of OASIS Standards Final Deliverables. Special Majority Ballot: Does the TC approve transferring maintenance and advancement of OSLC Change Management Version 3.0. Committee Specification 02, OSLC Architecture Management Specification Version 2.1, and OSLC Requirements Management Version 2.1 Committee Specification 01 to the OASIS OSLC Open Project as soon as the project is operating and ready to receive contributions? If approved, this will authorize the TC Chair to take any actions needed to work with OASIS Open Project Administration to accomplish this transfer. • This ballot will approve transferring ongoing development of existing work products not yet approved as Committee Specifications from the TC to the OSLC Open Project. As above, "this is just an acknowledgment that the TC will stop work and the OS will take over." Special Majority Ballot: Does the TC approve transferring ongoing development of all contributed work products not yet approved as Committee Specifications including [you can list any you specifically want to mention here] from the OSLC Domains TC to the OASIS OSLC Open Project as soon as the project is operating and ready to receive contributions? If approved, this will authorize the Chair to take any actions needed to work with OASIS Open Project Administration to accomplish this transfer. • Same motion and same comments on recommending TSC members. • Same ballot on closing. 3) OSLC Member Section Steering Committee • This motion approves granting the OP the right to use OSLC name and logos (permission is required by the OP rules) I move the committee approve the use of the OSLC logo and name by the OASIS OSLC Open Project as required in section 2.1 of the OASIS Open Project Process (https://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/open-projects-process#project-formation). • This ballot will dissolve the MS Again, this provides a buffer in case any other business comes up that needs attending to. Full Majority Ballot: Do you approve closing the OSLC Member Section as of the 30th day after the OSLC Open Project is officially approved?
