There is no Numeric attribute type within section 5.2. That may be because there are no Numeric attributes. However in table 7.1 there does not appear to be a way of extending the Attributes in section 5.2, which means that Extensions such as New Resource Attributes which are allowed under table 7.1 can't include numeric attributes.
