Justification for the common "created" attribute is unclear

      Description

      It's not clear why we need the "created" attribute. I am unaware of any use case that requires this information. I'm also against the idea of including information in every resource because we think it "might be useful". In addition to this, HTTP has a "Last-Modified" header that can be used to communicate when the resource was last modified, which seems to be more generally useful than knowing when the resource was created.
