Section 2.10.3 Escaping: This should mention also that SQL-92 requires escaping of quote characters by doubling them, as in 'Mary''s little lamb'. Note that in SQL-92 this is <quote symbol> ::= <quote><quote>, so I'm not sure if this is the CMIS definition of <quote>, or the SQL's. If CMIS, then you can also have ' " and " ' in addition to the expected ' ' and " ". Quite a mess. It might be better overall if CMIS were to take over the definition of <character string literal>, and do some work on making quotes more consistent.
