The consistent use of cross-cutting schedule communication (see NIST PAP04) is critical to the success of these standards, and integration across the entire smart grid including but not limited to consumption, generation, and markets. This specification would have to re-invent schedule communication, which is already coordinated across WS-Calendar, EMIX (which normatively references WS-Calendar) and Energy Interoperation (which normatively references both WS-Calendar and EMIX).
Rewrite and review the ws-calendar narrative for clarity and precision, including Stop sentence after "inherited" and add discussion of inheritance earlier in document.
Use WS-Calendar Gluon in first reference in each section.
Add conformance section on inheritance to last section.
Terminology needs to be consistent; e.g., a Gluon acts as a handle to a Sequence
Capitalize Interval, Gluon, Sequence throughout as defined terms.
