      Current spec:

A unique identifier for an EMIX element. Different markets and specifications that use EMIX may have their own rules for specifying an UID

Current spec: A unique identifier for an EMIX element. Different markets and specifications that use EMIX may have their own rules for specifying an UID

      Description

Current definition of UID in spec:
"Identifier of this artifact. In many (if not most) markets the UID is required to be globally unique."

Not clear what UID is or what's it used for. Second sentence of definition makes is confusing as to which markets require global uniqueness (or uniqueness at all).

Perhaps earlier in section could explain use of UIDs in EMIX artifacts.
