      Resources and loads are coordinated in ISO markets by bid-based dispatch subject to reliability (security) constraints describing the network. EMIX provides for communication of price information to and from such markets.

      EMIX also provides for price communication of dynamic prices for price responsive demand. The market clearing mechanism to clear such markets is out of scope, but the EMIX information model can convey the price information for load to follow demand instead of vice versa.
