$expand=* expands all navigation properties, including dynamic navigation properties. $expand=*/$ref inlcudes entity references for all related entities. $expand=*($levels=2) expands all navigation properties and all navigation properties on related entities. Explicit naming of a navigation property takes precedence over *. Examples: $expand=Foo,*/$ref,Bar, means that Foo and Bar are inlined as full representations, and everything else is inlined as references $expand=*,Foo/$ref means that Foo is inlined as references, and everything else as full representations
