      RFC6838 specifies in section 4.2 that type and sub-type of media types are case-insensitive https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6838#section-4.2, and in section 4.3 that media type parameter names are also case-insensitive, but leaves the syntax of the parameter values to the registering party.
