      Moving the 20 pages of XSD into a XML (text) file increases the readability of the prose document and allows reading and editing of the XSD with XML/XSD-aware tools.

      Having machine-readable parts of the specification as additional artifacts is OASIS best-practice; the additional artifacts are listed on the prose document front page.
