      Replace section "5.1.1.4 Canoncical Functions" by multiple sections, one for each topic. These sections contain further sub-sections for all related functions, ordered alphabetically by function name.

      $filter offers a long list of canonical function that can be applied in common expressions. The URL conventions document does not list them in alphabetical order, but by topic, which forces the reader of the document to scan the entire list in order to check for an appropriate function.
