      The attribute value in the schema should be restricted to "date".

      The description of 18.749 is incorrect. It described office:null-date attribute.
      Further, table:null-date support multiple values, including for instance "boolean". That's not reasonable, because there is no table:boolean-value attribute that would allow to specify a Boolean value.
