The current introductory text reads: "Database functions operate on a database, generally with a criteria 3.10.9and a selected field 3.10.8."

Err, after looking at the database functions listed in 5.9.2 - 5.9.13, they all appear to use Database, Field and Criteria.

So, "generally" is accurate as far as it goes but mis-leading in that it implies there are some database functions that do not use criteria or field.
