      1. Define how conformance and semantics of OpenFormula, including Host-Defined Behaviors, are applicable to the syntax and semantics of all five of the attributes for which OpenFormula is the default.

      2. Define how the additional provisions in style:condition, table:condition, and table:expression are to be realized when (1) OpenFormula is used, and (2) OpenFormula is not used.

Add the following note behind the table in 19.644 table:formula

      Note: The host-dependent properties are also applicable to style:condition (19.470), table:condition (19.598) and , table:expression (19.637) attributes.

      (Re-wording change: "Host-dependent properties are applicable to style:condition (19.470), table:condition (19.598) and , table:expression (19.637) attributes.")

Add a "Table [n] Host-dependent properties" in front of the table in table:formula.

(First, re-cast the current sentence that reads: "An OpenDocument Consumer when hosting a formula evaluator make available the following host-dependent properties:"

      to read:

An OpenDocument Consumer when hosting a formula evaluator has the host-dependent properties specified in Table .)

      Add to 19.470 style:condition, 19.598 table:condition and 19.637 table:expression

An OpenDocument Consumer when hosting a formula evaluator make available the host-dependent properties defined by table [n] in 19.644.

      Description

      1. For all ODF 1.2 OpenDocument documents, OpenFormula is the default for the formulas/expressions in style:condition (19.470), table:condition (19.598), table:expression (19.637), text:formula (19.807), and table:formula (19.644).

      2. Only for table:formula (19.644) are the Host-Defined Behaviors specified in satisfaction of ODF 1.2 Part 2 CD02-rev09 section 3.4 Host-Defined Behaviors. Also, conformance conditions are expressed for the table:formula default case but not for the other four attributes.

      3. Except for text:formula and table:formula, the definitions of the attributes introduce additional conditions or semantics on what may appear and what its interpretation is. These additional conditions are not clearly-defined with respect to the use of OpenFormula in those attributes and it is not clear how they are meaningful at all when OpenFormula is not the source of syntax and semantics for those attributes.
