As per Dennis, delete: "Database field values can be used in the expression by enclosing in square brackets a database name, a table name, and a column name, separated by dots."

19.779.1 makes the syntax namespace dependent so inappropriate to specify a syntax here, without a namespace.

      Description

I can guess on square brackets but prefer not to on "dots."

enclosing in a pair of square brackets ("["(LEFT SQUARE BRACKET, U+005B) "]" (RIGHT SQUARE BRACKET, U+005D)) a database name, a table name, and a column name, separated by one period "." (FULL STOP, U+002E).
