Public Comment: Re: [office-comment] 19.68 db:is-table-name-length-limited (ODF pt 1, public review 1)

    • Type: Bug
    • Resolution: No Action
    • Priority: Minor
    • ODF 1.2 CD 06
    • Affects Version/s: ODF 1.2 CD 05
    • Component/s: Database
    • None

The db:is-table-name-length-limited attribute does not define whether the database names are limited, but mirrors the capabilities of the used database. That is, the attribute is set to true by a user or an application if the used database has a length limitation. The only length limitation that databases may have is one to 8 characters. Specifying the length limitation as the number of maximum characters therefore would add a flexibility that is not required at all.
