ODF 1.2 Part 1 9.9.1 General Spreadsheet Change Tracking is misleading

      Replace the text of section 9.9.1 with the following:

      Changes that are applied to entire cells and larger portions of spreadsheet tables can be tracked in a list attached to the <office:spreadsheet> element. The list contains an element for each tracked change made to the table.

      Note: Spreadsheet change tracking is different than the text change tracking associated with the <office:text> element and header-footer styles.

      Section 9.9.1 has the following note:

      "Note: Change tracking of tables is not supported for text documents."

      That is misleading. It is true according to the RNG schema that <table:tracked-changes> is only available as an element child of <office:spreadsheet>. However, <office:text> <text:tracked-changes> can definitely track changes made to text in table cells that are decendents of the <office:text> element and also in header-footer content.
