      1. Create an ODF 1.1 Errata item that

      1.1 Deletes the middle two of the four paragraphs of text for 9.2.15:Caption-ID.

      1.2 Replaces the last paragraph with the text
      "See Appendix E for guidelines on the use of this provision to support accessibility."

      2. Provide the errata item as a comment on the IS26300:2006 FPDAM1 ballot.

      3. It may be useful to consolidate OFFICE-3365 and OFFICE-3366 with this issue in order to make a single errata item that replaces the entire text of 9.2.15:Caption-ID preceding the schema fragment.

      Description

      The second and third paragraphs of the 9.2.15:Caption-ID description are not useful. They appeal to user-agent behavior and don't add anything to confusion to the usual rules for an IDREF having referential integrity with an ID-valued attribute on a targeted element.
