      Description

      OSLC Resource Shape 3.0

While reading 2 Terminology I encountered:

      *****
Terminology is based on OSLC Core Overview [OSLCCore3], W3C Linked Data Platform [LDP], W3C's Architecture of the World Wide Web [WEBARCH], Hyper-text Transfer Protocol [HTTP11].
      *****

I don't doubt that is true but I'm not sure how to interpret "...is based upon..."?

      Do you mean identical to?

I ask because since you are writing in an established area, why not create a terminology document that references the necessary definitions from other standards and then reference that from all your documents?

That would remove any ambiguity about what definitions you are using and avoid your having to repeat your definitions in each of your documents. Yes?

While I am thinking about it, I assume that you mean to normatively reference all the parts of your work from other parts. Yes? Need to correct that as well.
