I have no idea what "indicator" means here.

But to break out of the loop, shouldn't you refer to STIX 2.0? Either a type it defines or a custom type?

      Description

3.1 Common Properties, type, reads under Description:

      *****
The type property identifies the type of STIX Object. The value of the type property MUST be one of the types defined by a STIX Object (e.g., indicator).
      *****

Isn't that circular? STIX Object - has type property and the type must be defined by a STIX Object. Sorry, you are caught in a loop.

Isn't it a STIX Object has a type property (your required) and that property type is defined by STIX 2.0. Yes?
