Abstract: This specification defines the Universal Business Language (UBL),
version 2.1. UBL is a generic XML interchange format for business documents
that
can be restricted or extended to meet the requirements of particular
industries.
This version includes 65 business documents used in the procurement and
transportation domains (e.g.: invoices, purchase orders, waybills,
transportation status messages, etc.).
TC Description: The OASIS Universal Business Language technical committee is
defining a royalty-free library of standard electronic XML business documents
for various domains. Development is with participation from a variety of
industry data standards organizations. UBL is designed to plug directly into
existing business, legal, auditing, and records management practices,
eliminating the re-keying of data in existing fax- and paper-based supply
chains
and providing an entry point into electronic commerce for small and
medium-sized
businesses.

Notes:
I understand we are late in the queue of a number of requests from other TCs.
Due to my impending travel schedule, it would help our committee to have the
review end before 2013-06-05 00:00UTC (Tuesday night/Wednesday morning).
That
would allow us to prepare and vote on the Candidate Standard at the meeting
of
2013-06-12 00:00UTC to start the 60 day review while I am overseas for 30 of
those days. We could then have the final standard out by end of August in
time
for our committee face-to-face in mid-September. If we miss the window, we
won't be able to start the Candidate Standard until mid-July and won't have
the
final until the end of October, long past our meeting.

Of course I understand you cannot promise anything regarding timing, and I
understand it is selfish to compare our needs to those of the other
committees.
But it would help us a lot if you could consider our request.
