Abstract: This document describes a message standard for the EDXL Tracking of
Emergency Clients (EDXL-TEC) Client Registry Exchange. The purpose of the
standard is to provide a standard messaging format for the creation and
exchange
of client records in and among publicly-accessible registries to assist in
tracking and repatriation of displaced individuals during emergencies,
disasters, and routine day-to-day incidents. This specification is intended
as a
companion to an EDXL-TEC Client Tracking Exchange messaging standard, whose
eventual development is anticipated.
TC Description: The EM TC approved this draft in its 4-18-14 meeting (see
approval link, TC meeting notes, para. 3c).
