point using JSON, leveraging the decision request and response structure

The JSON profile is a functionally equivalent alternative to the XACML XML
format request protocol which is defined in the XACML SAML Profile and the
XACML
Core Specification.

Both XACML defined decision request protocols are functionally similar to the
IETF Radius and Diameter protocols.
