specification defines a profile for the use of XACML in a RESTful
architecture.

The REST profile is a functionally equivalent alternative to the XACML Web
Services request protocol which is defined in the XACML SAML Profile.

Both XACML defined decision request protocols are functionally similar to the
IETF Radius and Diameter protocols.
