OCA
Now that OXA is officially an OCA Sub-Project (congratulations!), let's get it up and running .
From my perspective, here are the next steps:
1. Setting up GitHub repository (OASIS)
2. Set up a dedicated mailing list – OASIS uses groups.io for the Open Project email groups, the same tool we are using for the OCA PGB mailing lists. This tool also has a calendar function to schedule meetings for the group (OASIS)
3. Create a Slack channel if you want one (OASIS)
4. Add OXA teaser to OCA website – if you scroll down on the landing page, there is a "Sub-Project" section where we will add an image and a short text for OXA (OASIS with input from project lead)
Who will be the initial project lead for OXA, i.e. who can I work with if I need more information? OCA also has a requirement that every sub-project will designate a representative of the group to join the OCA Technical Steering Committee (TSC). The TSC meets once a month. You might have already met Xiaokiu Shu, the TSC chair on one of the PGB calls.
Once we have a GH repo, mailing list and Slack channel, we can start promoting the project to potential collaborators.
David Bizeul confirms that he will be the project lead
