      Description

Specifications and Notes published in the OASIS Library include <base> tags embedded in the required HTML publication format. The tags support the functionality of the "Latest stage" display. Before 2019, OASIS documents were published with HTTP URIs, and thus used "http://" within the <base> tags.

Browsers using HTTPS instead of HTTP to display pre-2019 documents may not be able to show the document as intended, in some cases. This appears to be limited to a small number of TCs whose publications use relative links to .css files or other resources used to assemble the browser display.

Following is a list of the pre-2019 HTML publications which are known to be affected:

      • PLCS TC - /plcslib/v1.0/ - 5 files (csd01, csprd01, csd02, csprd02, cs01)
      • UBL TC - most pre-2019 - list TBD
