Think about an entry level profile of TOSCA that includes a subset of features required to cover simple use cases. In a first attempt, this could be done in form of whitepapers that describe the minimum feature set and how to use it for simple use cases.
As a follow-up, we could also think of conformance levels that we include in the conformance section of the specification. Those conformance levels would have impact on TOSCA platforms (can support simple profile or more complex/full profile) and content providers.

      Description

TOSCA provides very powerful modeling capabilities to cover portability also of complex applications. However, this also introduces complexity that is unnecessary for simple use cases and it is hard for people to understand how to get started with TOSCA. Large communities do not think about the most complex use cases for the beginning but start simple, and therefore are overwhelmed with the TOSCA feature set, which hinders TOSCA adoption.
