As agreed during our certification program discussion in Milan (see: ) we need to improve guidance on the use of CustomizationID and ProfileID to better explain:

• CustomizationID: refers to profiling of the document model
• ProfileID: refers to profiling of the business process

It’s necessary to improve Appendix B.4 (UBL Customization) to better explain what UBL customizations are, how they relate to conformance, and how they are used in practice.
